Detroit Zine Fest is a celebration of zine culture in Detroit, Michigan!
Zines are self-published booklets covering a range of topics from Fine Art, Fandom and Politics to DIY, Instructional and Diary. Zines are an accessible way for creators of all backgrounds, cultures, classes, and abilities to share their work on their own terms while keeping full autonomy over their creations.
Detroit Zine Fest is an annual event where zine creators and enthusiasts can come together to network and support one another while spreading the zine community to a wider audience.
Detroit Zine Fest 2025 was held on April 5, 2025 at The Jam Handy (2900 E Grand Blvd, Detroit, MI 48202).
Nearly 100 Vendors came together to share, sell and trade their zines with over 900 attendees.
